Born into a third-generation salon family, Missy grew up in her mother’s Louisiana salon—essentially living her own Steel Magnolias moment as Truvy Jones. After moving to Middle Tennessee in 2001, she began her professional career in 2011, working her way from the front desk to behind the chair.
Today, she specializes in healthy hair, personalized color, and creating a welcoming experience where clients feel heard and cared for. A Master Colorist certified through Alfaparf Milano and an educator for Perfectress Extensions, she continues to pursue advanced education with a particular passion for Davines and extensions.
She currently works at CRFTD Salon in Nashville’s Marathon Village. Outside the salon, she enjoys cooking, hosting friends with her husband Paul, spending time with their dogs Bear and Poncho, and their newest hobby—birding.
